Paul was born in 1961 in Leicestershire. He trained as a classical pianist making his first artistic career in music, before turning professional as an artist in 1986.
Paul has developed his own style of beautifully detailed painting, and has become well known for his atmospheric rural landscapes.
Paul lives and works aboard his narrow boat, gaining inspiration from the changing scenery as he travels Britain's inland waterways.
His work is sought after by collectors around the world.
