Carrie and her partner Shaun, live and work from their studio in the Cambridgeshire fenlands. A beautiful, yet sometimes desolate environment that has had a great influence in the development of her work.
Carrie has been trained in all aspects of glass production, this technical knowledge has allowed her artistic qualities to flourish in many fields.
Over recent years she has refined her work using fused and slumped glass techniques, producing unique pieces. The content of these draw on the use of texture, space and shapes both on and within the surfaces of the glass. One aspect that stands Carrie apart from many others who work in her chosen field is the bold use of colour in much of the work.
Many of Carrie's pieces are complimented by wooden accessories and plinths produced by Shaun, who is also heavily involved in the overall development of new ranges.
Carrie produces work which is both decorative and functional.
